In Forgotten HIll: Buried Things, you need to pay the price of your terrible actions or finish the job.

Everything begins in March 1886. Secret laboratory. Dead frogs and a couple of arms hanging off the hooks from the ceiling. Oh, and there's a head in the jar. Nice :) Obviously it's some secret plan, a research, an experiment, that nobody knows nothing about. Nothing, until now. The man's wife enters the room she had been strictly instructed to never enter, but she didn't listen.

When the man realized his wife just discovered his secret research, he couldn't let his work to get exposed too soon. He had no choice but killing her. What a waste. As you can see in the image below, it's him standing over her shallow grave. Btw, I think the wife looks exactly the same as the woman from the "Love beyond" episode, which is a different story.

Later that night, the man heard some noises coming from the basement, exactly where he buried his wife. I guess some things you can't just bury. You have to pay for the crimes you did.

... Or you have to face your fears, take the responsibility of your actions and finish the job. The woman just stood up from the grave so you have to kill her once more hopefully for good this time.
