Five Nights At Freddy's Part 2
In Five Nights at Freddy's part 2, vintage pizzeria has been given a new life and now is looking for a new security guard: would you dare to apply for the job?
If you listen to a guy who is explaining the job's specifics, would you agree that that what was going on at Freddy's pizzeria in part 1 was just a minor glitch in the system ? don't think so :) Anyway, part 2 is giving you the chance to meet even more freaking scary characters and check out few new jumpscares.
Five Nights at Freddy's Part 2 Review
FNAF2 introducing several new mechanics
If one is certain in the video gaming world, it's that success inevitably breeds a sequel but what's surprising about FNAF2 is not that it's here but that it's here already. The original sleeper hit was a fantastically inventive slice of survival horror that pitted players against out-of-control animatronic animals rampaging through a pizza joint and while the basic concept for this sequel remains largely unchanged, several new mechanics have been introduced and which make this more than merely a cynical re-hash of its groundbreaking predecessor.
New and even more terrifying creations
The set-up is as before, with players now controlling new-guy-on-the-job Jeremy Fitzgerald who has taken the role of night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. The place is still plagued by rampaging mascots, only now the line-up has swelled from the original's four to ten, with the old favourites being joined by some new and even more terrifying creations. Jeremy's task remains the same, this being to survive until dawn but the gameplay gets some major changes to keep things from going stale too soon.
A mask and a music box
Perhaps the most noticeable change is the removal of the requirement to close doors in order to impede character movement, with players now being given a Freddy Fazbear mask which can be worn to deter them should they get too close. Other new twists on the familiar gameplay include the addition of a music box which can be remotely accessed and which acts as a distraction to keep the animals away from Jeremy as long as it is playing, while the three entrances into the office can no longer be blocked off.
Very clever twists and turns
These changes might all sound fairly minor but they do shake things up quite dramatically in practice, requiring players to shift their play style from the previous game and as such the gameplay remains as compelling as ever. The extra characters add in some much needed variety, with the new designs complementing the old ones perfectly and which bring a whole other dimension of terror to proceedings. There's an interesting, and largely successful, attempt to bring in some extra narrative flavour to the game (which actually acts as a prequel to the first one), with plenty of clues suggesting that what transpires here is part of something much grander, while there are some very clever twists and turns which are sure to keep everyone guessing.
Grim and gritty visuals
One thing that hasn't changed is the game's unrelenting difficulty and it really is a challenge to survive all five nights. This might prove off-putting , even for veterans of the original, but if you can handle the heat, there is much to enjoy here. There's the same mix of gradual terror, all-out shocks, grim and gritty visuals and careful strategising that combine to keep you hooked right from the start. The first game's limitations are even more noticeable here but the new mechanics prevent this from overly restricting the enjoyment factor and on the whole, this is a tighter, leaner experience that lacks nothing in terror, narrative or gameplay and which certainly does not disgrace the memory of the original.

motorman : mangle
ChochiPRO : i hate fnaf
spoopybirbb : The music for this game blends beautifully with the story, concept, and art! I love how it subtly implies that something is truly wrong with the pizzeria. The animatronics give off an innocent, but cryptic vibe! I love this game so much! I honestly think that the more polished and plastic (toy) looking animatronics are more appealing and scary. Five stars!!!!!
