Dream Eater - Pixelated Mystery

The game sets you off in a big house as a young boy who lost his family and now trying to find some answers about their mysterious death, in his dreams.

Therefore, Dream Eater is design as pixelated (pixel-art) horror game where you walk around and interact with objects, reading notes, basically solving mini task, until they lead to a solution. The atmosphere is creepy, the house is dark and you can clearly hear unpleasent sounds of thunders in the distance. Something that got your parents opposes a threat for you too, which means that your little investigation might threaten your life as well. Whoever got your friend or brother Vincent can get you too.

First, check out the controls. Beside your basic ability to walk to the left and run, you can additionally use shift and 'c' keys in combination to either start running or slow it down, i.e. to sneak up on someone. There's 'E' key for interaction, such as opening doors and picking up objects.

Without going into details, the first night is passed by you going to the kitchen to get some medicines. After you take your sleeping pills, you need to go back to your room and get into bed, to have some sleep.

The night two is the first night when you meet the 'thing' - a creepy dark creaturs which you must avoid at any cost. The idea is to go down the hall and get into the room with a closet. You should open it get inside and wait for creature to pass on. Otherwise you die.

When you open a door, the game auto-saves, so when you die, the game will continue from that point on. This is good, so you don't have to play it from the sole beginning. You just get up from your bed and move on from wherever you were at the point when the creature got you.
