The Hood Episode 3 - The Witch Hunt Continues

The Hood Episode 3 - The Witch Hunt Continues

The third episode begins with a fight between mr Wolf and a group of demons (Shades) sent out by witch to kill him. They failed, of course.

I was obviously wrong when I said that the part 2 was the last one. But don't worry, episode 3 also ends up with "to be continued..." and not only that but episode 4 is out too so I'll put it on next week.

Mr Wolf is 'Fenrir' - which is, according to Norse mythology (Scandinavia), monstrous wolf (source: http://www.britannica.com/topic/Fenrir). Thanks to a strong sense of smell, he could have tracked down the witch through a demons' blood smell. The trail led him back to a place of Shadetale. Instead of finding Cameron, he faced another witch, a lady called Marian Windlethorpe, and after a quick fight, he managed to chopped her head off. This lady also appeared in part 1, when mr Wold spoke to her in a pub. She directly accused Cameron for witch crafting. It turned out that she was also a witch and that she was the one who sent out those demons on Wolf.

After speaking to the locals (village elder, drunk Elem the Weathermage, town alchemist and woodcutter's son) Wolf decides to leave the town and go alone in search of Cameron. They showed very little to none interest in searching the girl or paying Wolf for his services.

To solve the magical tree riddle and open it up, you'll need to remember what scientist told you. (don't forget to borrow shovel from him)

The combination you are looking for needs to align with a small triangle carved in a tree, right underneath those strange symbols. "There two stood, with one is dead", means two vertical lines and one horizontal. "Two are hollow" - the second row plate should contain two circles. Well than, while rotating the third row, the tree opened up by itself showing a drill. The third row doesn't make much sense, at least not to me. Rotate it until you see three little dots, and than click on the plate. Confusing.
