Slenderman Must Die

Does Slender-man deserve to die because of all those crimes he had committed?

Probably yes, because you can't just go around, kidnap children, kill and go unpunished. But I somehow doubt that the main idea behind this game was to deal with moral message behind Sleder-man story. It is simply an idea of one developer to try and invert things and instead of you running from Sleder-man, turns him into the game, and make you the hunter this time. To take from SLeder-man the power to appear from thin air and take his immortality, and to give the player besides the flashlight a gun too - that is what was on developers mind!

Collect 8 pages and kill Slendy

The game was made very correctly. We have this one, 3D Unity version, another one for Android and a PC version which can be downloaded and played 'offline'. All versions are completely identical. The game is taking place in a deserted hospital - sanatorium, which is supposedly Slender-man's favourite stomping ground, besides the woods of course. Movement is really without any glitches, smooth, map is very good and there are no significant bugs. Rooms are typical for horror games, grey, dark with low ceilings and minimal hospital furniture in pretty rough condition. Goal is dual this time, besides the fact that you have to kill Slender-man, you shouldn't forget to collect the 8 pages, that part remained the same as in original story.

Gore Scenes

The one thing that will most certainly make horror fans happy, are numerous gore scenes. Floors in every other room are soaked in blood, and there are also blood stains on the walls. Decapitated heads and massacred bodies are an integral part of the scenery in many rooms. To make thing just a bit less serious, the player can besides collecting ammo and finding better weapons, rest for a while and take a sip of spoiled milk, or eat a simple meal like pizza or hamburger.

User Comments

The opinions on the game are divided. Those players who are accustomed to playing online browser games think that this is one of the highest in quality versions of Slender-man. On the other hand, somewhat more demanding players, those leaving comments on YouTube, think that this game is complete rubbish and that is filled with lacks. For example they complain about reload button not working, which is not true by the way. Reload is automatic, but first you need to find and collect ammo, and secondly - you have to previously empty the entire clip. Other complaints are mostly about grammar in the text. I believe that developer has fixed most of those in this last version.

Poison Games

This is an indie game. There is only one developer behind it and he is calling himself 'Poison Games'. If you are interested in his other work you can look up following games online: Z Day Shootout, and as of late you can also play sequel of this game Slenderman Must Die: Chapter 2. Unfortunately, this one is, for now, only available for PC, which means that there is no browser version made yet. Chapter 2 is, by the way, sci-fi horror game placed in near future on an abandoned space station.

Slenderman Must Die On YouTube

There are dozens of videos on YouTube, where many players compete amongst themselves who will show, more amusingly, how to play this game. I have picked this video for one simple reason, it currently has the most hits on YouTube (over 20.000). Basically you don't really need a walktrough for this game, because it is after all just a simple 3d first person shooter game, and not some brain teaser.
