Sinthai Helloween

Sinthai Halloween is a short point and click horror adventure. It was published in 2010 as a special for Halloween. It is very important that you pay attention to 'parental strongly cautioned' warning. It is no joke, the game is quite scary and contains bloody scenes. Music in the background can't be turned off, on purpose.

DarkHorrorGames basically doesn't publish Halloween games nor we have a special category for those. The reason is that these games are usually very frivolous and not scary enough. Our focus is pure horror. Not one game that doesn't meet that criteria can't find it's place on our site.

How to play (spoiler warning !!!)

All point and click games have some kind of puzzles or problem solving base within themselves. Nothing is different here. In horror games of this type the puzzles are usually not too complicated and it all comes down to clicking on certain objects on the screen. After a while, an animation is activated. Like in an interactive scene from a horror movie.

At the beginning you should alternately click on the light switch and a pumpkin, until it turns into a Jack-o-lantern. Then you should read message about Halloween from the author. After that you should again click a couple of times on the light switch and then on the window. It brakes and blood sprays all over the wall. At one point the pumpkin disappears and a baby head takes its place.

After several jumpscares the game is over. On the right side of the screen links to other games show up and one link for Halloween Wallpaper, which can be downloaded here.

Player comments

While I was preparing to describe this game it was very interesting to read the players comments on other sites. Most of them talk about jump scares in a bloody scene when the window brakes. Some of them were scared to go to the toilet by themselves later on. But mostly all agree on one thing, and that is that this is one really scary as hell game.
