First, let me break down this complicated title: 'Rusty Lake' is a game developer who creates point and click puzzles. Their best known game series is called 'Cube Escape', and this part is called Seasons. The Seasons is actually consisted of 4 episodes, all packed in one game. All RustyLake's games are very much alike, so in case you liked 'The Mill', than you might find the 'Seasons' even better. I also decided to upload 'Case 23'. Not a particular fan of room escape genre, but these Rusty Lake's games are so creepy and so well executed that I just couldn't ignore them.

What is Rusty Lake and what exactly is this series about, nobody knows the answer for sure. There are theories that Rusty Lake is a place where souls of the dead go after the person commits suicide. Their black life energy gets sucked into a cube and their lifeless and memory-free bodies continue to float in the Lake. Finding the lake and entering the world of spirits is not an easy task, otherwise, anyone could do it. That's why the clues that lead to it, are so well hidden, behind puzzles and locked drawers. The world you are about to enter is surreal, imaginary, soaked into dead people's memories. When black bad memories are released, they form the shape of a 'black shadow man' the one you occasionally see as a reflection in the mirrors. That's the enemy, that's the guy we want to keep in the lake. Anyway, it's all just a theory, and it's still remains unclear what the series is all about. What counts is it is creepy, eerie and weird, and that's why we have it on DHG.
