Maryse is an adventure point and click horror game with 2 endings. In one potential ending Maryse dies in her dream, while in the other version she sneaks by the walking dead and leaves her nightmare for good.It depends on choises you make by clicking things on the scene.
The game is made in a very pixelated style, so it resembles a little to those great pixel-art series like Deep Sleep, with one BIG difference which is that this game is a lot shorter. Actually it's like 2 minutes short.
The idea here is to help Maryse live through the nightmare which she is apparently stuck within. She wakes up in the middle of the night to hear some weird noises coming from the kitchen and to read some threating messages on her computer. It turns out that she finds an unwanted visitor and that her life is in danger. To escape, she'll have to put on some clothes (despite very high level of pixelization you can still get quite good impression of what's going on under hew nightie), and leave the house. There she has to make another panic escape to the elevator to end up in the 'labatory' where either the nightmare ends or the game takes you back to the start.
If nothing else, the music is excellent.

It's not show in the video, but there's a way out of nightmare. It's in the labatory, if you click not on the monster, but on the 'shiny door' behind it.

The creator could've made it a little more challenging...but it's still pretty good if you want to do a 5 minute game while you're waiting or something.

Short, but lovely design. I do not like the fact that when you die it just brings you back to the beginning rather than saying you did something wrong. Some games have loop features and this is confusing.

Yeah it is really very short. I would love something like a sequel to it but longer. The soundtrack is really good. I played it a while back... one of those games i forgot to comment on and rate.

This was not the greatest. And it's so easy to get both endings...if it was longer with more plot then I would recommend it. But if I were to rate it'd be a 2/10.

That was pretty damn good! Short, but good. You need to be a little quicker on the ball with decisions than other point-and-clicks. I would be interested in seeing what they could do with a longer game. X3
