Forgotten Hill - Spiders Attack Point And Click

A horror point and click escape game about yet another place you don't want to investigate when your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere.

Ok, I've picked this game up from ArmorGames today, so it's pretty much fresh one. It's obviously a point and click game, which usually gives us a winning combination with horror genre, so let's see. The introductory welcome message is very encouraging if you like to hear sounds of ghosts' whispering. Later on you will realize that it's not a good game for those suffering from arachnophobia either (that's a fear of spiders).

The game begins in a well -proven style of old horror movies. Your car broke down in the middle of a God's forgotten place. Your girlfriend starts to panic but you comfort her with how everything is going to be OK, and that those people living in the house near the road are going to give us a hand. It's pitch black and your flashlight barely illuminates the next few steps ahead. In other words you are in trouble, man. The creepy music and sounds you hear in the background of the game are not helping either.

The first scene is just for warming up, to show you how things work here. You can easily pick up the lighter from the floor and put it on the inventory at the bottom of the screen. There's also a key there. Also pick it up, open the door and get into a next room. That part was easy. From this point on, the controls and the game navigation are pretty much standard in respect how they usually work in other point and click games, so no surprises there. So, the point is that you need to figure out things like how to open a safe with nothing else but a piece of cheese and a dead fish.

The game is more than simply a set of static screens to navigate between, but is pretty close to that. I really liked how they did the scene with a bugs on the wall running away from my flash light. Clicking on a giant spider was a bad idea too.
