Case 23 - Point And Click by Rusty Lake

Case 23 is another detective 4 chapter story from the Cube Escape series made by Rusty Lake.

If you ever played any of these games you should know that these are point and click games, based on weird and creepy concept which involves dead people souls floating on a surface of the 'rusty' lake. As always, in this game too, the center of a story revolves around a mysterious young blond woman who ended up dead or got killed under unknown circumstances. You play detective who works on this particular case 23 with the role of uncovering the veil of mystery around this murder.

What you can expect out of this game is interesting investigation with lots of surreal and creepy details but no cheap jumpscares, mind boggling riddles, an excellent artwork with unavoidably baffling ending. It might be arguable whether this is a real horror game at all, but the quality is unquestionable. All-present sepia tone, the level of eeriness and tension in the atmosphere was good enough for selection.

So, what kind of creepy details are we dealing here with? Well, first there's a dead woman laying on the floor with bugs coming out of her mouth. Than there are these Russian babushka dolls where one of them holds a knife, strange voice over the phone, chained up guy in the office, black silhouette of a man on the window and a man hanging off the rope
