What I've seen from the demo, youtube trailer and their kickstarter's video, the game is pixel-art horror game with intense atmosphere about a guy who tries to unlock himself out of the house. It's basically very similar to point and click genre where you search for hidden clues and than trying to make the purpose of them. I am not sure whether the game contains cheap jumpscares but I've seen pretty dark atmosphere in the demo you can download below.
