As you walk along long hallways occasionally you will stumble upon certain messages written on paper, about what was going with the main character and the events that led to whatever had happened at the moment when that gun shut was fired. Something about unwanted pregnancy, girls' death (Helen, baby's death and more ... Soon you'll start hearing weird noises, baby crying and screams ... Maybe the main character is going crazy.
Blurry storyline and already seen maze-like hallways is nothing new, but one thing is guaranteed - good old dumb but simple and effective jumpscares! That's what you get here.
This game was made for college project. A guy who made it, Charlie Behan from Ireland is only 19 or so. The game uses Unreal Engine 4 and it's a rather short game, don't expect to spend more than 10 minutes or so. This is his twitter page in case you want to contact him https://twitter.com/charliebehan.
The story is settled inside a hotel where a single gunshot have bean heard around 2AM, so that all occupants had to quickly leave the building.
Ok, so in Hotel Remorse, regarding the storyline, either we are going crazy or something from hell is coming to take us down to hell, because we were on floor 666. Either way it's about feeling remorse about something bad we did in that hotel.
Despite good story the game has a lot of cheap jumpscares, especially in the end, so that might not appeal to some.

One creepy thing happened while I was preparing this page. While exporting the game's thumb image I have realized that it's size is 6.666KB Weird :)
cute_but_scary : overall, it's an excellent game:). the atmosphere of this game was very scary. @dark nice choice of games though :P
serialzero : Saw a couple of Youtubers play this. Definitely had promise. Interesting backstory. The jump scare noise was more ear-piercing than scary though, and the monster could use a little work.
Scientist : Why is the download bar full but 0% is there something wrong?
dark : I am going through the list of suggestions, so expect more pc games. p.s. thanks for 'fav' ;)
scary_kid : o Yeah :D Happy to see this game on my fav site :)
