Courage - Fear Gas Jumpscares
Author of this indie horror game is Tower Lives Studios. The first version has been released last December of 2014, and there's also the 2nd version available right now. The game is very small but it's free, the download file is only about 45 MB, and the good thing about the game is that it is crowded with jumpscares. These are quite cheap jumpscares, but extremly effective. I literally felt goosebumps on several occasions, so make sure NOT to play this if you're faint of heart. On the other hand, if you'd like to get a quick heart attack, play this on your own, alone at night.

Courage - Fear Gas Jumpscares
Courage pits you as a test subject called James, who's injected with a biological serum.
He need to escape the labaratory before the whole thing affects you and that sounds well and defined. However 'Courage' lays on a bunch of cheap jumpscares that are just few google images as well as characters from other games. Don't let that fool you though, because there are some pretty tence moments, and when everything is quiet only for the enemy to suddenly appear right in front of you.
Like the game's title, 'Courage' is all about getting from point A to point B. There's no real threat, because that's just your mind getting affected by the serum and your eyes are just deceiving you, but it's still scary. So, that all means that you can't die in the process, not until you reach the end of the game. I have also played version 2, which is also based on the very same jumpscare just repeating itself throughtout the whole game, so I don't think it had much of an upgrade compared to this version.

Yeeaahh, nooo. You need a lot more than just mist effects and repetitive jump scares. The environment was incredibly dull as well.
