Horror Games For PC
Posted by: dark, 2015-01-21, 13:31 - 5 comments

Just recently I decided to give in and allow PC games on darkhorrorgames.com.

After having Five Nights at Freddy's series (part1 and part2), I've just made a page about SCP Containment Breach horror game.

New horror games will not be visible under 'NEWEST GAMES'. Instead, you would have to scroll down and check under 'HORROR GAMES FOR PC'. There's also a tag 'PC' in the lower right corner and a tag 'pc games' in top menu.

If you played good horror game, why don't you tell us about it in comments below... Free, mostly indie horror games, which can be downloaded for free, are preferred.

Undead Isle 2 on DakrHorrorGames???
Posted by: dark, 2014-12-09, 05:54 - 6 comments

Would you help me to sponsor new horror game?

I was thinking of sponsoring sequel to the Undead Isle, it's just that such games could be expensive. The game would have Dark Horror Games logo, and would be exclusively  playable for some time only on Dark Horror Games for start.

I don't know if you guys use PayPal at all, or if anyone would be willing to donate some money to help me out with this project. So that's why I decided to ask you first, before I do anything. What do you think? Does it worth a try?

This was the first part(http://www.darkhorrorgames.com/play/undead-isle/)
At the moment I am not allowed to tell anything specific about the sequel, except that it is work in progress, so here's just blued screenshot until I get permission to do the opposite...

I would pay the larger amount, but I would be happy If I could raise 500 dollars from dark horror community, just not sure if that's plausible.
Horror News Recap for December 2014
Posted by: dark, 2014-12-08, 16:01 - 4 comments

I've collected a few (potentially) interesting things from across the interweb I'd like to share with you guys. So let's see what's been happening in the past month or so in the world of Horror (not necessarily gaming). I'll be short because, first - I hate to read and write long reviews, and second - as you can tell from the image below - we need to hurry as Santa has never been closer.

Stephen King's horror movie IT is getting its remake soon

image of Stephen King IT scary clown...

Probably next summer, the filming of a new remake of the old phenomenal horror movie based on Stephen King's book of the same name 'IT' it going to start . The producer will be Dan Lin, the very same guy who made Lego Movie (!?#!?). "IT" was one of the best all-time horror movies. Plot is set in a small town Derry, Maine, where group of kids (Loser's Club) is attempting to get rid of deadly evil "Pennywise the dancing Clown". "Georgie Scene" was my favorite ... Amazing acting in the scene when he goes: "Oh they float, Georgie, they float ... " :) :) :)

Earn to Die 2 is out

Award winning zombie head smasher 2nd sequel is finally out. Your goal in this game remains the same - go through each city and smash through the hordes of human flash-eaters. Not the type of game you would expect to see published on darkhorrorgames.com, but in a few days I will put it up on crazyscarygames.com (which is far less formal in terms of what proper horror should look like)

Ebola man rising from the dead is fake!

You must have heard the story which circulated in media past few days about a man who was first reported to have died from Ebola and than, just few hours later, resurrected from dead . "Man Dies From Ebola & Comes Back To Life" flooded the Internet with viral stories about the beginning of zombie apocalypse. In the end, it all turned out to be a complete hoax. Photo used for this hoax was slightly photoshoped still from World War Z horror movie. Generally speaking, rising from the dead is possible. If you don't believe me - search in YouTube for 'Soviet Expiriment resurected dead'.

Just in time for Halloween, this October, Bigzur has released Slenderman Origins 2 on Google Play and AppStore. I tried to contact them and see if we can have this game on darkhorrorgames.com, so we'll see. For now, either play this on your mobile phone or just watch the video below...

Bongcheon-Dong Ghost story
Posted by: dark, 2014-11-09, 03:50 - 7 comments

This webtoon contains shocking horror scenes and whatnot, so don't read it unless you're 100 positive that you are OK with the content. I mean, who would know that better than you (advised reader discrection for pregnant women?!?)

Instructions

  • Position the mouse over the comic area and than use the mouse wheel to slowly scroll down, frame by frame. Some parts should be animated. Let me know if not having mouse wheel is a problem for you.

Special thanks to

  • Scarecrow mentioned Bongcheon-Dong Ghost story, and Cute But Scary recommended it in PM, so I had no choice but publishing it :)
